The hotel is located just seven miles from Austin Bergstrom International Airport and is adjacent to Palmer Auditorium. Hotel Features. A lakeside pool, spa tub and sundeck provide scenic views of Town Lake and the city skyline at the Hyatt Regency Austin. The hotel's health club features cardiovascular equipment, while meetings and special events are arranged by experienced staff in the hotel's 23,000 square feet of flexible function space. On site dining options include LaVista, serving pancakes to die for and Austin's top rated fajitas served in the hotel atrium. Branchwater offers dining al fresco via a terrace overlooking the lake, or inside dining next to a stream that flows throughout the lounge. The lounge is famous for its margaritas and quiet, dimly lit atmosphere ideal for romantic late night snacks.
Guestrooms. Hyatt Regency Austin's spacious guestrooms feature commanding city or lake views enhanced by Southwestern themed decor. Rooms are equipped with coffee and tea facilities, oversized desks and high speed Internet access. Other amenities include daily newspaper delivery, designer toiletries and extra pillows. Expert Tip. Over 10 miles of hike and bike trails lead away from the hotel and extend alongside the banks of Town Lake. The path's surfaces pass by such Austin landmarks as Zilker Park, Barton Creek and the Congress Avenue Bridge, where the largest urban colony of bats roost seasonally.
