Location. Lakeway Resort and Spa is located in the hill country of Austin, Texas, on the shores of Lake Travis. The hotel is tucked away from the bustle of downtown attractions. The University of Texas is 23 miles southeast of the property. Hotel Features. Offering lakeside dining, Josey's Bar and Grill serves delectable cuisine with Southwestern Flair at the smoke free property. Specialties of Executive Chef Scott Wilmarth and his culinary team include seasoned prime rib and fresh seafood buffets. Casual dining is offered in the bar area, featuring billiards and specialty cocktails. The Back Porch Wine and Coffee Bar overlooks Lake Travis and serves upscale coffee, wine, spirits and beers.
This conference resort offers over 17,000 square feet of meeting space, including an IACC certified conference center, 10 meeting rooms and three large ballrooms ranging from 4,000 to 5,800 square feet. Two rooms feature permanent projection and computer graphics capabilities, multi purpose lighting and sound systems, controlled by in house technical support. Recreational amenities include cascading outdoor pools overlooking the lake, a heated spa tub and fitness equipment. An on site children's playground is equipped with slides, bridges and swings.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Lakeway Resort and Spa feature views of Lake Travis and the Texas hill country. Rooms are equipped with 32 inch LCD televisions, desks with task lighting, Internet access and premium movie channels. Select rooms feature separate living and dining areas with oversized patios and overstuffed sofas.

Driving Directions
From Austin Bergstrom International Airport: Approximate distance to the hotel is 27 miles.
Turn left out of the airport onto Highway 71 West. Follow Highway 71 West to Southwest Parkway Exit. Take the Loop 1 overpass to Southwest Parkway. Stay on Southwest Pkwy until it deadends at Highway 71. Turn right onto Highway 71 and go to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Route 620 and go to the fifth traffic light. Turn left onto Lakeway Boulevard and go through light. Go past traffic light and turn right onto Lakeway Drive. The hotel is straight ahead.
